We had a great opening night, March 22 in the lobby 1100 Louisiana. The show was curated by Clint Willour from the Galveston Arts Center. A lot of really nice work was presented this year and I'm Texas proud to be amongstya! I submitted 10 images for review, with the maximum of 2 being selected. I was surprised at the selections by Clint but happy he saw something worthy for the exhibit. Honestly, Jessica helped in making the decisions on what to present. Pick 10 out of 100's of thousands of images...good God, no way. The 2 shots are "Ike Aftermath" which speaks for itself and "Moonlight Windsurfing" shot from my deck, full moon, at 25,000ISO, which is unheard of but worked for this shot with a Nikon D700. The shot of the house and woman is actually Dr.Jane, who lost her home that was next door to me and flooded her new home a mile inland. The house she's looking at was across the street from me. She's holding a few recovered momentoes and I loved her scarf which she found in a tree.
